Weekend Steals, 1/13

Off the Shoulder Cableknit Sweater, also in blue

Cheerio from chilly Chicago! I thought we were done with the freezing temperatures for a while, but no! It snowed yesterday and it’s cold today so I’m bundled up again! If I’m being honest, I’m probably wearing this funnel neck sweatshirt (again) that I posted on Instagram earlier this week. It’s so comfortable and warm that I actually wore this outfit two days in a row—mom problems, am I right?

It was perfect for the end of our week which was filled with errands. Owen had his two month appointment, which is still sort of crazy to me! Some days it feels like he was born a long time ago, but others it feels like yesterday. He’d grown a whole inch since his one month appointment! He’s also started interacting so much more and now smiles on the regular and looks around when he hears sounds or I walk by him, it’s so dang cute!

Since it’s not quite as bitterly cold as it was last week and everyone in our house is feeling so much better, we’re planning on getting out during the afternoon. There’s a cute little beer shop and bar near us called Bitter Pops, so we’re thinking we’ll either head there, or Corridor for a drink. It’s tough to do stuff at night since Owen goes down for bed at 8:30 (I’m sharing his full schedule on Tuesday), so afternoon plans it is!

Last, but not least! This week’s steals. I came across so many good finds this week—I love when that happens. I’m obsessed with these booties and I’m actually considering getting rid of an old pair in my closet to make room for them. The pointy toe is classic, but a touch edgy! I also love this cozy sweater in this pretty wine color. Perfect for drinking red wine on the couch in my opinion, ha! It comes in a few more colors too.
