I’ve mentioned this in year’s past, but Rob and I have never done anything big for Valenine’s Day. No reservations, no big gifts, no fancy outings. Just a simple, yet fancier dinner, at home with a nice bottle of wine (none for me this year). We exchange cards and usually I get some flowers, and that’s it!
It’s nothing over the top, but it’s become our little tradition and I absolutely love it.

What to Wear for Valentine’s Day
This year, I do have a Galentine’s Day dinner with friends at RPM Italian though! I’m actually so excited because I’ve heard amazing things about the restaurant and have never been!
It’s a little fancier, so for me, this is my excuse to get dressed up and put something nicer on to hit the town! Even if we are going on a Thursday night! Depending on the weather, I’m planning on wearing this fun red dress that I bought for my sister’s rehearsal dinner. I am absolutely in love with it!
Typically, I’m not a red gal, but this shade and style of the dress was just too perfect to say no to. I tried both the small and extra-small, and went with the small. They both fit, but the XS was just a tad bit too short for me, and I knew it would only get shorter as my bump gets bigger.
It may not be ideal for a bigger bump, but for a smaller one, it’s perfect! The tie waist is adjustable, so you can move it up or down as necessary.
Do you typically make big plans for Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day? Do you like wearing red or pink, or opt for another color?!
