DRESS: Tunic Dress from Anthropologie (also loving this one and this one) | SHOES: old — similar here and here | BAG: Chloe Marcie Bag from Nordstrom | NECKLACES: Shark Tooth & Signature Diamond | Makeup: Complexion Rescue & Power Neutrals Eye Palette
The past couple of weeks have been pretty miserable weather-wise. Bone-chilling temperatures, winds that sting and gloomy weather that makes getting anything done near impossible! To get through this last chunk of winter, I escaped to the warmest place I could think of in Chicago, the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Not only did it feel good to be in a warm (and humid!) environment, but it was also inspiring to be reminded of how amazing this city is when it’s warm!
I recently picked up this Winter Moon Tunic Dress from Anthropologie (their having a big sale right now). I love that I can wear it over tights with boots while this cold weather persists, but then easily transition it to spring with a pair of booties. The ones in these pictures are actually old but I’m loving this pair and this pair from Nordstrom. Paired with these dainty layered necklaces from Joy Dravecky, I’m so ready for spring!
Just looking at these pictures has me so excited for my upcoming trip to Arizona and even tempted to book a last minute getaway to somewhere warm, Florida perhaps? All this warm weather talk reminds me that I desperately need a new pair of sunglasses (trying to decide between these and these, thoughts?).
How are you getting through this never-ending winter?
