All of this horribly cold weather has me so desperate for spring. I’ve been going on my daily walks with Oliver thinking, in just a few weeks this will be over and then summer will be next! Meanwhile, my skin is as dry and pasty as can be.

In the process of moving my desk, I also got a shelving unit from World Market to hold all of the beautiful pottery we got for our wedding. I’ve been practicing my shelf styling skills a lot lately.

That Saturday was also unseasonably warm for Chicago, so instead of the puffy coat, I opted for a casual weekend outfit including a cozy sweater, my short peacoat, cuffed jeans and slip-on sneakers.
