I like to think that we in Chicago (or really any cold climate) are extra thankful when spring rolls around. It’s like magic when the sun comes out and the temperature rises above freezing – the whole city comes alive again and you remember exactly why you love it here.
The past few weeks have been exactly this and after months of wearing heavy sweaters, coats, pants & boots, it feels amazing to shed the layers and pull out some bright pieces. To me, spring and summer style should be filled with bold colors, patterns and bright white. Shoes like these Sperry Seacoast Sneakers are ideal for Chicago because we spend so much time outside walking and exploring. Plus, I love that I can wear white with anything! They’re comfortable, but keep me looking more dressed up and pulled together.
As we continue to drift further away from winter, I can see comfortable and feminine looks like this one becoming my spring uniform!
