How to Easily Achieve Classic French Style
When I was packing for my trip to France, I did a quick Pinterest search on the subject of French style to get inspired. What I found was simple, no-fuss outfits that anyone can easily put together and wear. There were lots of solid colors (and even more black and white) and tailored jackets and pants and menswear-inspired shoes.
I like to try new trends every once in a while, but for the most part I stick to classic pieces that I know will last me a long time like a good trench coat, perfect white buttoned shirt and a skinny jeans.
The real secret to achieving that timeless French style?!
Remembering that less is more.
I wore this simple outfit during our day of bread-making and vodka tasting at Le Logis. This knit tank is super comfortable and the high-neck is surprisingly flattering. I paired it with a denim midi skirt, which might not be considered totally French, but a pencil skirt or full midi skirt would be perfect!
So instead of trying to add lots of accessories and patterns, stick to simple pieces and you’ll look like you walked straight out of a sidewalk cafe in Paris.
Sounds nice, right?!
