January 22, 2016 Beauty It’s Just Hair images via 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 It seems like every year or two I get the itch to chop my hair off and lately, I’m getting that itch. Part of me wonders if I’m bored in this frozen tundra we call Chicago, or if I really just need a change. The last time I had this itch, I ended up chopping off about 10 inches! Thankfully my hair grows relatively fast so when I decide to do something like this I really don’t worry about it all that much. I have a haircut scheduled in mid-February with A.J. — she’s amazing — and I’m seriously debating going short again. I’m obsessed with how easy, carefree and chic these haircuts look. They look cute straight, curled or wavy too which is a bonus because I don’t always wear my hair the same way. I was also looking back at this post and this post and really love how it looks! At the end of the day, it’s just hair and it will grow back. My hair is really the only part of my look that I ever experiment with and let’s be honest, coloring it a bit and cutting it really isn’t that much experimenting. But I love that it can totally change my look, give me new confidence and isn’t permanent. So, should I do it!? What do you think of the lob or drastic haircuts in general?
