Do You Take Fashion Risks?
I’ll be the first to admit that when it comes to fashion trends, I’m not the first one to try them. For the most part, I don’t buy into too many trends and prefer to stick to the classics, but life gets boring if you don’t take a few risks every once and a while.
And let’s be real, if you’re going to do something risky, fashion risks rank on the safe side.
Jumpsuits were one of those trends that I didn’t think I’d be able to pull off, but I think I’ve changed my mind. Mister Zimi recently me this one and I thought that France (see more of our trip France here and here) would be the perfect time to try something new.
And, guess what?
I loved it. It made me feel pretty stylish, chic and strangely confident. I can’t complain about that!
The pattern on this jumpsuit is probably my favorite part of the jumpsuit. It’s so colorful and bold, like everything else that Mister Zimi makes. I’ve got my eye on this dress for fall — it would look totally adorable (sort of a 70s vibe!) with a pair of over-the-knee boots!
We shot these pictures (thanks Steven!) at night so it seemed appropriate to bring my drink along — a martini made with Grey Goose vodka. It was delicious, but my favorite cocktail from the weekend ended up being the classic Grand Fizz with Le Melon vodka. You can find the super easy recipe below!
So tell me, do you take fashion risks? Why or why not?
