The Best Thing About Spring
In a city where winter seems to never end, the first signs of spring are welcomed with so much excitement! Sidewalk cafes start popping up on every street and the city slowly turns greener as flowers and trees continue to blossom. Suddenly I remember exactly why I live in this city after doubting my decision for the past few months…
Along with the city coming to life, my other favorite part about spring is getting to pack up my heavy sweaters, puffy coats and snow boots and pull out spring colors and lighter layers. This year I’ve just about decided that pastels are now a neutral. This blush Draped Front-Suede Jacket from Johnston & Murphy has the right amount of warmth for crisp spring nights and the color adds some girly flair without being too bold. Seriously, it goes with everything! I can already see myself wearing this on repeat all spring (and summer) long!
The rest of Johnston & Murphy’s spring collection is full of more pastels and spring essentials. I’m obsessed with these Deena Piped Oxfords because they’re comfortable and ideal for spring! The bit of sparkle gives them a less traditional look, which I love. They’re an awesome way to add some personality and uniqueness to your work wardrobe while remaining totally appropriate for the office.
At the end of the day, this collection simply works for spring. This season is when I really start getting out of the house more to meet up with friends or Rob for dinner and drinks and I’m always looking for outfits that I can wear from day to night. That’s what I love about Johnston & Murphy’s spring collection — it easily transitions from work to a night out, which fits my lifestyle just perfectly!
