Cold & Casual
Last week’s weather was literally so insanely cold we barely knew what to do with ourselves. Taking Oliver out three times a day was painful, but he’s new booties from Furry Footwear definitely eased the pain. This week is still cold, but feels like a heat wave compared to last!
When the weather is like this, dressing up kind of gets tossed out the window. I hate to admit it, but there were two days where I actually wore fleece-lined leggings with sweatpants over them — I’m not joking about these subzero temperatures. Now that things are back to normal (well, as normal as Chicago winter can be), I’m back to wearing things I actually want to go out of the house in. I love this knitted floppy hat that I got at Anthropologie last year, but I have to admit, the wind doesn’t help!
I might still be bundled, but I’m thinking very warm thoughts and even browsing swimsuits for a trip to Mexico in late May. Anything to get me through this!
