Holiday Weekend

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas! Ours was great! We slept in late, had a big breakfast, opened presents and just laid around the house all day until dinner. After dinner Rob’s family friends came over for dessert and drinks and we got a beautiful 4 inches of snow (which is still continuing to pour down now!). It was so fun to get a real white Christmas and spend it with my new family in a new place.

Now that the craziness is over, we’ve settled into a very relaxed pace which is something I feel like I haven’t gotten to do in a long time. For a casual Colorado weekend, I’m wearing this new alpine cuff tee with cozy sweater-like sleeves, my all time favorite skinny jeans, Newbury boots and the beautiful present that ‘Santa’ brought me, this cashmere grey Chloe Marcie bag. That last one has been on my list for years and was such a fun treat! It’s just as gorgeous in person and is the perfect size for everyday.

Let’s talk about this coat though, it one of my absolute favorites and every year J.Crew bring it back in numerous colors. It is a bit of an investment, so if you’re looking for something a little less expensive, I rounded up my favorite coats under $150.

We’re spending the rest of the weekend hanging out and probably seeing a few movies — American Sniper and Unbroken are high on my list. What’s on your weekend agenda?!
