One thing you might not know about my husband is that he’s really into watches. The hobby (or should I say obsession) started around the same time that we got engaged and has now become quite a passion for him. I on the other hand, much to his dismay, have never really worn a watch — until lately.

I recently added this Larsson & Jennings watch to my ‘wear every day’ accessories collection and suddenly, I’m a watch person! Larsson & Jennings combines the cool British aesthetic and minimalist design you expect from Sweden and they’re totally wearable for both guys and girls (hint hint, Christmas presents).

I love the black face against the gold hardware on the leather band. It’s both classic and edgy and goes with everything. The watch itself is a good size for my wrist — not too big and not too small. I also love that the Saxon watch has the date function because I’m literally always forgetting what day it is, ha!

Last week I wore this look for our perfect fall day. Since it wasn’t too cold, I wore this pleated faux leather skirt (more faux leather here), a long trench vest, booties and these pretty earrings along with my new watch. I love how these neutral pieces come together in this look.

I can’t say that wearing a watch has helped with my timeliness, but I sure love the sophisticated feel it adds to my look. Do you wear a watch?
