My Favorite $40 Dresses for Summer

In the summer, I basically live in two things—workout clothes and dresses. And,I’m 100% okay with that because they’re my two favorite things to wear.

Before our trip to Florida in April, I ordered a few new dresses from Target. These are all under $40 and they remain some of my favorite pieces I’ve bought this year. I love that I can wear them casually, or dressed up! Especially now that we’re starting to make more plans and get out of the most on a more regular basis.

Not too long ago, I talked about how investment pieces are totally worth it to me. However, that absolutely does not mean that there are not amazing finds under $45! As much as I’ve worn my investment pieces, I wear the heck out of some of my cheaper pieces too. This dress has already gotten so much use this summer and I know I’ll just continue to wear it more and more.

It’s comfortable, fits like a glove and I adore the eyelet details on the sleeves. It comes in a few more colors too, like this bright melon-y orange and pink that’s so fun for summer. Next weekend, Rob’s mom is taking the boys for a night and we’re going out! I just might wear this dress because I adore it so much. I cannot wait for drinks and dinner out on the town and to get to sleep in the next morning, ha!
