10 Stunning Pink Coats Under $180

pink coats

My first few winters in Chicago I had to majorly upgrade my closet. I never had much of a need for heavy coats in Dallas, but I knew that was going to change upon moving. The trouble was buying all of those coats, sweaters, boots, hats, scarves and gloves all at once—it gets expensive! But it was necessary, so I started with the basics and have grown my winter wardrobe out from there.

For a year or two, I had two coats—one grey and one black. Nothing wrong with them, but when you wear the same twos coat everyday for 4-5 months, you get sick of them. So, last year I decided it was time to add some color to that part of my closet and I got hooked. I bought a wine-colored coat, a dark green one, a leopard one and just recently added this fuzzy pink teddy bear coat from Nordstrom. It’s a bit oversized which I love, because I can wear layers underneath on colder days.

It’s the first pink coat I bought and I’m not quite sure why I waited so long. It adds such a fun, girly twist to any outfit and adds so much cheer on a grey day. Winter is long here, so having bright and colorful pieces in my closet really boosts my mood and makes winter more bearable! I went ahead and rounded up 9 more gorgeous pink coats below that are perfect for all different kinds of climates, just in case you don’t live in a place as cold as Chicago!

pink coat denim skirt

A few weeks ago I wore this outfit during one of our lady days. I picked up this cut-off denim skirt and this embroidered shirt (I’m obsessed with the back!) at Nordstrom. This skirt and top will actually be perfect year round or for a winter trip to somewhere warm. I finished off my outfit with my favorite over the knee boots and my classic grey Chloé bag. Speaking of Chloé, I’m seriously considering investing in this one or this one, you know, as a little Christmas present to myself—which do you like better? And, do you ever gift yourself?! I’d love to know!

Because it’s so cold today, I feel like I should also let you know that it was MUCH warmer the day these pictures were taken, ha! I can’t believe how quickly the weather changed on us and I’m missing those warm days like crazy! Either way, this coat will still be on regular rotation, but instead of a skirt and boho top, I’ll be wearing it with jeans and a sweater!

Do you own a bright and colorful coat? Does it feel like winter in your city yet?

Thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!

BTW, do you drink coffee or tea, and how to dress for a brisk fall day.
