When Quince came onto the scene, I was interest was immediately peaked over their Mongolian cashmere sweater that looked a whole lot like Jenni Kayne’s version, but at a fraction of the price. Was it too good to be true? I’d previously owned the Jenni Kayne one and adored it and wore it to death, but the thought of spending another $400+ on a sweater, especially when I’m over here trying to save for my dream kitchen!

So, I went for it and tried out the viral cashmere sweater and have basically been on a Quince kick since then! So, let’s break down some of my favorite things I’ve bought from Quince, plus some I might skip in the future.

What to Buy at Quince Right Now (Plus, What to Skip)

In general, I’ve found Quince to do sweaters and tops extremely well as well as most of their home stuff, read on to find my personal favorites, plus a few items I have on my list for the future.

Quince Mongolian Cashmere Fisherman Sweater Review—Must Buy IMO

Mongolian Cashmere Fisherman Sweater—wearing a medium

This was my first buy from Quince and I went back through my emails and saw that shortly after it arrived, I placed another, larger order just a couple of months later. And yes, this cashmere sweater is ACTUALLY made from 100% Mongolian cashmere, not just a measly 5%.

It’s incredibly soft, versatile, great for wearing on it’s own or layering. I did find it to run a bit small, or simply more fitted than I would prefer. I’m 5’8″ and have a longer torso and arms and I got the medium because I didn’t want it super fitted. I love the brown and have gotten so much use out of it! I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the colors though.

Quince Organic Cotton Striped Crew Sweater—YES

Another great buy, and a sweater I love for year round use! It’s nice for cooler spring and summer evenings as a layer or with a pair of jeans, sandals and a sweater, or for winter all bundled up! Because it’s a cotton knit, it doesn’t have that same fuzzy fit as cashmere, but it is a bit more structured which I love. Again, great for layering!

This color way is old, but I adore the one they have now and I’m pretty sure I just saw another mom wearing this at pickup the other day.

Organic Cotton Gauze Tiered Maxi Dress—YES

I do realize that we’re entering winter at the moment, but if you have a beachy warm weather trip coming up, I would highly recommend this dress. It’s one of those super easy to throw on pieces that’s effortless and comfortable and can be dressed up or down depending on how you style it.

Distressed Denim Shirt

I love the oversize fit of this denim shirt. It’s a straight fit, which I prefer for a button-up shirt and one that I’ve gotten a ton of use from. In fact, I wore it yesterday with these leopard barrel jeans. But, as much as I loved this one, maybe it didn’t sell so well because it’s no longer around. They do have some other cute chambray and denim pieces though if that’s your vibe.

Quince European Linen Long Sleeve Shirt Review—YES

Another classic basic that I feel like I’d been missing from my closet. I love a nice crisp shirt, but linen? Even better in my opinion. It’s nice and long which I love and has held up really well. It comes in a bunch of other colors as well, plus some really fun striped versions as well!

Quince European Linen Sheet Set Review—YES

European Linen Sheet Set—grey stripe

These sheets are SO luxurious! They’re lightweight and while they come in solids too, I LOVE the striped version. They add a little something special to your space and feel amazing to sleep in. The fitted sheet is deep, so it easily fits over thicker mattresses and washes well! If you’re looking to make your bedroom feel a bit more like a fancy hotel, these are great!

Quince Organic Percale Sheet Set—YES

Organic Percale Sheet Set

When my oldest got a big kid bed, my mom handed down some extra sheets she had and while they served their purpose, they had shrunk over time (or maybe mattresses have gotten bigger?), but they were so tight I could barely get them on the bed. I’d previously bought some flannel ones from Target with a cute fish pattern that quickly faded away, smeared and ALWAYS looked dirty.

I came across these percale sheets while I was looking at their linen ones and liked the price better for a 7 year old. Plus, the green checkered pattern? How could I not?! We’ve had these for nearly a year now and they are amazing. Lightweight, breathable, well-made and they actually fit over his mattress. I appreciate that they’re deep so you can actually get the fitted sheet over it, ya know?

I also love the touch of whimsy the green check adds to his room—boyish, but fun all the same.

Quince European Linen Box Quilt Review—Maybe

Honestly, the jury is still out on this one. I bought it in white for our guest room, so I haven’t slept in it myself, and it doesn’t get that much use. It’s thinner than I was expecting and almost a bit see-through, through, though that could be because it’s white. It also looks strangely worn, it makes me wonder if my dog has been coming down here and scratching on it—that’s why we needed a new one in the first place.

That being said, it is very soft and cozy! My sister bought the same one in the Nightfall color and it looks amazing. She said it’s been durable, despite living with their two young boys and golden retriever.

Quince Cotton Velvet Quilt Review—YES

Cotton Velvet Quilt Set

We received this as a gift from Quince a while back and I absolutely loved it. If you’re like me and sleep cold, this cozy topper is just what you need. It ended up being too hot for my husband, so we put it in our basement, where, sadly, our dog (ARGH!) ripped a hole in it. Note to self—do not leave him to his own devices, even after 12 years!

This one comes in several colors and while we got a creamy taupe color, I really think it shines in it’s bolder colors. The velvety material reflects the light and looks so rich and cozy.

More Quince Picks That are On My List

Cashmere T-Shirt: I would already own this shirt except the colors I want are all out of stock, waiting for that email and it’ll be mine!

Cabled Sweater: I’m actually in the midst of knitting my own cable sweater and it’s going to be gorgeous, but it’s taking me forever. This one is similar and makes me think I should stick to easier knitting projects in the future, ha!

Quilted Featherless Jacket: I adore this redwood brown color and need a good warm coat for school pick-ups and drop offs that’s one level below puffy coat and cuter than my big fuzzy Patagonia coat. It’s currently sitting in my cart—do I go for it?!

Cotton Jacquard Floral Coverlet: Honestly, I don’t even know where this would go in my house full of boys, but I love it so much. It’s got great cozy cottage vibes and the colors are all beautiful.

I hope this helps you navigate Quince’s wide and growing selection! Do you have any favorites from Quince?
