August 25, 2018 Everyday Outfits What I Wore This Week I won’t lie, totally snagged this idea from Kelly—she just started a new series and I was like, omg that’s genius! I typically snap a quick pic of what I’m wearing in the mirror each morning or have Rob snap a photo while we’re out and about, so why not share? Sometimes they make it to Instagram, but often they don’t. As much as I’d love to do full shoots of all of these, I don’t have a live in photographer. So, for now I’ll use my mirror until I can train Owen to take a decent photo 😉 But, the real reason I wanted to share these outfits is because these are the outfits that I’m wearing on a regular basis. Easy stuff, often yoga pants, and I wanted to give you guys a better idea of what my day to day style is like—I hope you like it! Stripe Tee, similar | Good Vibrations Shorts | Sunglasses, similar | Sneakers | Owen’s Stroller Last weekend, I slept a lot! I think my body really needed it. I’m usually someone to just push through, but I’m really working on listening to my body. It said, go back to sleep, so I did! Both mornings I slept until about 10:30-11. Granted, one morning, I woke up with Owen at 7, so I just went back to bed after he went down for his first nap. But, after we got up, we went on family walks both morning to take Oliver out and also grab a coffee at our favorite spot, Heritage. I love this place so much and usually work from here a few days a week too. Boho Dress, similar here and here | Bridge Sandals (one of my most worn pairs of shoes ever) I had a meeting last Friday morning so I pulled out this dress from last year. It’s sold out, but I found a few similar ones. It’s made from the softest cotton and I love how effortless it is! Farrah Skinny Jeans | Mont Blanc Sandals, also here and in a bootie version that I’m thinking about for fall I wore this on Monday—it was so gloomy and rainy, but it made for the perfect work day. It made for a really fun Tuesday and Wednesday! We grabbed drinks at The Berkshire Room and then went to SABBIA at Eataly for dinner! I’ve been trying to avoid gluten, which made dinner tough, but the chicken and zucchini dish was absolutely delicious! Oh, and so was the burrata! I wore this wrap dress again (only $100) and I love it so much! I really want the midi version too (I’m in love with the plum color!) as I think it’d be perfect for weddings, date nights and any other fancy events. The best part is that it’s really timeless so you’ll get a ton of use out of it! Double V Tank | Wide Leg Crop Pants, more colors, straight leg here | Loeffler Randal Mules I wore this on Thursday for my work day. I always get more done when I get dressed and ready for the day. These wide leg crop pants had arrived the day before and I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the wide leg, but I actually love them! The fabric is thick and sturdy, but has some stretch to it as well. They run TTS! I finished up some work, grabbed a quick lunch by myself and then went to acupuncture with Ryan Ruiz at Aligned Modern Health. Much needed because my head is still stuffy—I’m going on a month and a half of this cold. It’s never gotten bad, but it just won’t go away! Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
