Happy Saturday!! How’s your weekend been so far? Last night we went to a friend’s Christmas party and today we’re actually up at a normal hour because we’re heading to Wheaton, aka the suburbs for those of you not familiar with Chicago. Rob’s grandma lives there and his sister (Adria) and her husband (Gavin) are in town, so we’re all going out to visit her for lunch! We’ll be seeing Adria and Gavin again in less than week, but either way, I’m so excited to get to see them while they’re in town!
Last weekend we had two Christmas parties, and after last night’s party, I’m really looking forward to a relaxing night at home or maybe a casual date night at one of our favorite spots close by (read: Le Colonial, Tanta or Union Sushi). I’m not in the mood to walk too far since it’s suppose to snow all day!
As for tomorrow, I plan on staying home. Why? The forecast shows a high of 7. Yup, I did type that correctly. I’m planning on doing some writing, (maybe) working on those pillows I talked about yesterday on Snapchat, and finishing up the last of our holiday shopping. I’m actually pretty proud of myself, we only have one gift left to buy—usually I’m scrambling at the last second, ha! If you’re still not done with your shopping, I went ahead and rounded up a few fabulous last minute gifts under $100, some are even under $50.
These velvet pants have been one of my most worn holiday pieces and would also be great for the office! They come in a few more colors too. I’ve also had my eye out for a new blanket for the foot of our bed and this furry one is so pretty. Oliver might try to make it his though, ha! He loves anything soft and fuzzy!
