On our afternoon walk yesterday, I decided we’d do a little shopping in addition to our walking. We’ve hit that weird part of the year where it’s still cold, but it’s sunny and the days are longer, so every time I look out the window I think it’s warmer than it is.

We’re also heading to California in a week, so I’ve got spring, and all things that come with it, on the brain! We live close to this cute street, Southport, that has tons of shops, restaurants and businesses. Thankfully, nearly all of them are dog-friendly, so popping into shop with a stroller and a dog is made much easier.

We went into Anthropologie and I picked this dress and this jumpsuit! I’m really loving the whole jumpsuit trend right now—anyone else? Then we went to Free People and I got this top in black that I’m in love with and this top and skirt set that reminds me of the red dress emoji, ha! Lastly, we popped into Gap for Owen because he’s gotten so dang long that his toes are nearly popping out of his footie pajamas. I also got this cute little top and sweater for him to wear on Easter in California!

Trying on those pieces seemed too daunting with Owen & Oliver in tow, so that’s on my agenda for later today! Shaheen and Zain are also coming over to go on a walk and then tonight, I have dinner with friends because one of them is moving to L.A. I won’t lie, I’m pretty jealous that she’s moving to California where it’s not 35 degrees.

I hope you’re having a good Thursday so far!
