By far one of my favorite things about living in Colorado is the sunshine we get throughout the winter. Growing up in Texas, winters were never long or that cold and I loved that. As much as I love Chicago, winters there were hard for me, and the longer we stayed, the harder they got.
Winter can still be long and chilly here, but having the sun shine nearly everyday makes the BIGGEST difference in my mood and motivation to get outside and get moving.
I used to spend a lot more on activewear, but last year I found so many amazing brands on Amazon that were just as good as my quality pieces and let me have more variety in my workout wardrobe. I found two of my favorite pairs of leggings—here and here—both fit similar to my Lululemon pairs and are a fraction of the cost!
These twisted crop tops are some of my favorites too. I wear them at least once a week, more in the summer and they look cute with a pair of high-waisted jeans or a skirt. Not the sexiest item, but if you need good no-show socks, holy heck, these are hard to beat. And to believe I was once buying single pairs for $12—bah!
