Do you see that? Yes, in the background the trees are blooming! It seems like we’ve been waiting for spring forever, but in all honesty, it’s really come pretty early this year and I’m not complaining. When plants start blooming again, it’s pretty safe to say that the worst of winter is over, which is great because I’ve been stocking my closet with all kinds of pretty spring pieces including this adorable romper from Keepsake the Label at Nordstrom.

I have a weak spot for florals, so when I spotted this beautiful print I went nuts. The tough part was deciding between the romper, the midi dress and the mini dress that all come in the same pattern and include the beautiful lace detail. I settled on the romper because I loved the playfulness of it. It can be dressed up with heels and worn to an engagement party, date night or even a casual wedding, or dressed down with flat sandals for a day spent patio-hopping or enjoying a music festival. Speaking of festivals, is anyone going to Coachella this weekend? Or, are you planning on going to any other festivals this summer? Lollapalooza is always so much fun!

On another note, let’s talk about trench coats. I never had one until last year and I don’t know what I did before! It literally goes with everything and makes any outfit look chic and classic. If you buy just one trench coat, this one should be it. It has a detachable hood and liner making it perfect for any season—just remove them for warmer days! I picked up everything that I’m wearing from Nordstrom, one of my favorite places to shop! I love their huge selection and free shipping and returns—seriously, why can’t every online retailer offer this?!

Is it starting to look like spring in your city? What spring pieces have you purchased and are ready to wear?
