Get inspired with these stunning fall table decor ideas for your Thanksgiving table setting or next dinner party.
With Thanksgiving around the corner, I’ve thinking more and more about the holidays and plans with friends and family. I love hosting a good dinner party and the cooking part is easy, but I often overlook the table and I’m left with something less than spectacular. These fall table decor ideas are so beautiful and inspiring.
When it comes to decorating fall tables, it doesn’t have to be complicated! Some of these look over the top, but when you break it down, they’re actually not quite as complicated as they might seem.
If you’re hosting anyone for the holidays—take note! Even though some of them are more ornate than others, there’s still so many fall tablescape ideas that we can take from these and bring to our own table.

9 Beautiful Fall Table Decor Ideas
1. Fancy Floral Ideas for Fall Table Decor
This tablescape is absolutely gorgeous and while it looks over the top, it’s actually rather simple. All you need to recreate a similar look is:
- linen table cloth
- linen napkins
- rattan chargers
- amber, cut-glass wine glasses, also love these green ones
- fall-colored tapered candles & candlesticks
- two store-bought flower arrangements
You could DIY your flower arrangement, but when you’re prepping a meal as well, sometimes it’s just easier to let someone else take the reins on that one. Grab some simple fall-colored bouquets from the grocery (Trader Joe’s always has really affordable flowers!) or pick up some fancy arrangements from your local florist.
2. Gold, White & Burgundy Thanksgiving Table Setting Idea
What I love about this table setting is that you can use a lot of what you have—simple white places, simple clear wine glasses and then pull out any white or gold vases, bowls and pitchers you might have. Even if they’re just white, this would look so classic and beautiful.
I love how they’ve mixed in pops of burgundy with the candles and pomegranates. Personally, I’d leave the pomegranates whole because they’re juicy and will easily stain.
3. Casual Fall Table Setting Idea
I love this more casual table setting with simple glasses, a beautiful arrangement and some big pillar candles to set the mood. If you hav kids or don’t want to worry about wax or fire, I love these battery-operated candles! The striped napkins add a fun twist to the table.
4. Rustic Thanksgiving Table Setting
I love how simple and organic this idea for Thanksgiving table decor! They’ve used a mix of different materials that make it look organic and collected. The cut-glass water and wine glasses are so beautiful.
For easy arrangements like this, save any old green water bottles (think Perrier or San Pellegrino), remove the labels and fill them with a few small stems. Get some eucalyptus to lay down on the table. It will smell great and look beautiful as well.
5. Harvest Table Setting
Simple and so chic! They’ve used faux pumpkins in their decor here, but if you don’t have any, you can easily swap them out for real pumpkins and gourds. Personally, I love those Cinderella pumpkins that come in the softer orange color. Paired with eucalyptus, the soft colors create such a nice, calming tablescape that everyone will love!
6. Cozy Fall Dinner Table Setting
How fun is this cozy fall tablescape? I actually think this one would work well for Thanksgiving or Christmas. I love how they’ve used a plaid tablecloth (love this one too) and then kept everything else really simple.
For the greenery on the table settings, you could even use something simple like cuttings from your garden or fresh herbs like rosemary. Again, they’ve used these beautiful amber cut-glass wine glasses and I’m thinking I might need a set for myself!
Everything else is so simple—a few candles in bronze candlestick holders and some simple greenery in a vase!
7. Marigold Fall Table Setting Idea
If you have small potted plants or herbs around your house already, you can repurpose them and put them on your dining table for this simple setting. I love the simple striped runner down the middle for a bit of texture and some fun, patterned napkins to liven up the whole thing!
8. Elegant Ideas for a Fall Centerpiece for Table
This table is definitely a work of art, but wow is it a show-stopper! No detail was left unconsidered here! To recreate this one at home, here’s a simple list to make it happen:
- chiffon table runner
- beaded napkin rings
- amber bud vases
- tall white vases
- white and gold candlesticks
- woven placemats
Pick up some simple florals and white candlesticks and pair with your favorite simple dinnerware and silverware.
9. Pumpkin-Themed Tablescape for Fall
Lastly, a simple tablescape with greenery and pumpkins! What I love about this is that you can reuse any pumpkins and gourds from Halloween. Then grab greenery and these birch tea lights to create a similar look that’s fall-inspired and a touch farmhouse!
I am obsessed with these ideas for table decor for fall and can’t wait to host my next party or family gathering.
