Is it just me, or are the guys the hardest to shop for? Rob and my dad are both the type that if they find something they want, they just buy it! So, it makes the holidays so difficult!
This year, Rob’s company changed their dress code to be more casual, so I’m in luck and actually have a list of things he needs, but normally that’s not the case. Some of the items above are either things Rob has expressed a need for, or has in his closet and uses regularly!
Under $50 & Stocking Stuffers
I love stocking stuffers! It’s so fun to pick up little surprises to have in a stocking. My mom often puts fun socks in our stockings, so I like to do that. I put some other good stocking stuffers and gifts under $50 below.
Tech is always a good gift for guys—I feel like you can’t go wrong with that. If your guy is into fitness, the Apple watch would be such a good gift. Rob’s loves his noise cancelling headphones for work and flights too.
For the Cook or Grill Master
Rob’s really not much of a cooking guy, my my sister’s husband is! She actually just bought him a ceramic grill like this one. We often get my dad cooking things—a panini maker or a waffle maker would both be so much fun—the panini maker was used all the time at my parents house!
My in-laws also LOVE their sous vide and it makes the best steaks. Any cook would love it!
Wine or Liquor: My dad is so hard to shop for. He owns a mens’ clothing store for goodness sake! He’s got all the tech he needs, so every year, we typically opt for something like wine or his favorite scotch. He’s in that place in life where he doesn’t need more stuff, so getting him something we know he’ll enjoy and use up is always a good idea.
Food: My dad enjoys cooking and eating, so another gift we’ve gotten him is a grill spice rub, and one year I think we got him a sausage subscription, haha! There are tons of funky subscription clubs out there that are fun.
Experiences: Cooking classes, concerts or comedy shows are always a fun idea! If he’s into a specific hobby, look into classes for that too, you never know what cool stuff you can find.
