Underthings Perfect for Valentine’s Day

A few weeks ago I was in Bucktown and popped into the new Journelle store that just opened and my timing couldn’t have been better! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to treat myself to a little something special. The last time I got any new lingerie was my bachelorette party and I forgot how much fun it is to browse all the pretty, lacy things!

What I most loved about the Journelle store and the whole experience is how fancy it felt! So many lingerie shops give off a sleazy vibe, but this was the complete opposite. The store was beautiful, welcoming and sophisticated and the staff made the whole experience even better. They walked me through the store, explaining where everything was and then took my measurements to ensure a perfect fit.

The dressing rooms are complete with fluffy, cozy robes and water bottles which made me feel like I as in the comfort of my own home. I tried on several lacy thing including this adorable teddy, this bra and panty set which I loved, but I ended up walking out with this gorgeous, lacy number — perfect for Valentine’s Day right?! And the price? Totally affordable!
