If I’m being honest, most of the trends I’m currently seeing are bringing back nightmares from my middle school days—capri pants, low rise jeans and dresses over jeans—some things can be left in he past in my humble opinion.
But the mesh ballet flats trend has been popping up everywhere I look and at first I wasn’t sure, but now it’s growing on me. So much so that I snagged a pair! What I love about them is that they’re lightweight and breathable—duh! And the ones with crystals or rhinestones can definitely make an outfit look dressier. I had a pair of flats years ago that had rhinestones on them and these remind me of that—the perfect way to add a touch of fancy to any outfit.
It’s like a blend of a summer sandal and classic ballet flat—all in one. But with a touch of edge! I’m excited to style these more and add a little sparkle to simple everyday outfits.
