First things first, you might be thinking, this isn’t new?! And you’re right, I had scheduled the new site to go live this morning, but we encountered a few snags and decided to hold off until those were sorted out. I want the new site to make your experience here a better one, so I appreciate the understanding! I’ll let you know when those things are worked out — I promise, it’s worth the wait! You might have seen this look on Instagram already, but I’m in love with this skirt! I think I’ve made it pretty clear that I love plaid (here, here and here) and this skirt falls under that category.

I’m really excited to wear this skirt paired with fancier black tops like this one I just got from Anthropologie or a fun fringed top for holiday parties in lieu of a holiday dress. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good holiday dress, but it’s nice to switch things up if you have multiple parties on your schedule.

This outfit also reminds me of a look I posted last year that I also loved. Apparently black and this jewel-tone is a favorite of mine! What’s your favorite thing to wear to holiday parties?
