Last week, Rent the Runway opened their storefront in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood and I had the pleasure of attending their launch party the night before their doors formally opened!
The store itself is absolutely gorgeous! It’s easy to browse through their huge selection of lovely frocks and accessories and find the one that’s just right whatever the occasion.
The store was completely packed with beautiful ladies dressed to celebrate. I wore this Hunter Bell fit and flare dress and did not want to part with it. Not only did it fit perfectly, but it was really comfortable too! I paired it with these new sandals that I’ve been wearing on repeat (also in tan) and my favorite bag.
The party was a total blast and I had so much fun sipping beautiful cocktails whipped up by Femme du Coupe, snacking on tasty bites from Boutique Bites catching up with girlfriends and meeting new ones, and of course, checking out the stunning dresses. There’s just something so different about seeing them in person and getting to feel the fabric and design up close!
I’ve already been using Rent the Runway online for years and I know that the store opening will have me using it even more. It’s just too easy to stop in and pick something up! The best part? You can run in on the day you need it and grab something right then and there. Pretty amazing. The biggest advantage of the store is that you get to try on the dress before you wear it, so you’ll know how it looks and fits!
So if you’re in Chicago, make sure to stop by soon — you won’t regret it. The Rent the Runway store is located at 710 North Wabash Avenue and is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 8pm and weekends from 10am to 7pm.
If you’re not in Chicago, you can still rent online! Make sure to use code RTRFOXANDSHE for $30 and rentals over $90!
