Stripes on Stripes

Last week I was at the J.Crew at Westfield Old Orchard trying on fall clothes when I looked up and realized that everything I had grabbed was one of two things. Striped or plaid. But mostly striped.

I really think J.Crew is to blame for my selections. They’re striped pieces were on point! I did leave with this striped shirt with suede detail, but it took a lot to not come home with more. I’m okay with it though because I dress a lot more casually during the fall months — I’m always cold — these kind of pieces are so versatile and perfect for layering! Plus, a good basic stripe can go with just about anything.

So today is all about stripes! I think stripes are something you can never have enough of, just make sure you’ve got a variety of colors, widths and even directions to make your collection a well-balanced one.
