Owen’s Schedule at 22 Months

mama and toddler

I got so many requests for this post when I asked for ideas a few weeks ago, and I can’t believe how long it’s been so I wrote one of these!

Since Owen was little, we’ve always relied on a regular schedule and routine. It’s allowed him to anticipate and know what’s coming next, and when he’s comfortable, he’s far more calm and sweet. I find that it’s when we veer from his schedule, push his nap time back too late, have an airplane ride that throws things off or miss a snack that he gets cranky, fussy and can turn into a child I barely recognize!

For the most part, we don’t get too off schedule, but when it does, we get back on it as soon as possible and usually within a day or two, he’s back to his sweet self!
