We’re jumping straight back into reality after a week away in Kiawah, SC with Rob’s whole family. We’ve been going there for the past three years and it’s an absolute treat to spend time with family, have the cousins hang out and escape real life for a whole week.
Now that we’re back, I’ve jumped back into some projects that had been sitting idle. I think the break really reinvigorated my creativity and excitement.
Here’s a peek at my week and what I wore, plus some sale details below that you won’t want to miss!
Easy Mom Outfits for Summer to Fall Weather
Monday
White Shirt, sold out, similar | Colette Pants | Sandals | Tote
Monday was our first day back after our week long trip in Kiawah, SC. I had lots of life and work things to catch up, plus lunch with a friend. We popped into the Sézane pop-up in Cherry Creek and then grabbed lunch.
Not sure what size to get in these pants? Read my review for sizing details!
Tuesday
Dress, comes in more colors | Flats | Bag, similar
My morning started with a long walk with some friends and then I showered and changed and decided to feel fancy. I threw on this insanely comfortable and affordable dress and these new red Mary Jane ballet flats that are also very comfortable. I know they’ll be getting a ton of use this fall. This bag is an old one from Madewell, but I found a similar one above!
P.S. Madewell’s Insider Sale is happening now and it’s 25% off everything! Here are some favorites:
Wednesday
Tank | Jeans | Belt | Gazelle Sneakers | Cardigan—handmade, similar here
I was mostly at my desk on Wednesday, which was actually nice. I love an uninterrupted day. I tossed on my newly finished cardigan over a tank and jeans. Perfect for cool mornings and warm afternoons.
Thursday
Pants, same style different fabric | T-Shirt | Sweater, similar below | Sneakers
We woke up to chilly temperatures, but knowing it would get warm later, it was all about the layers. I’m finding excuses to wear my summer pieces as long as I can and these linen pants were a favorite. The green is gone, but they have the same style in a fabric that would be perfect for fall!
I added a simple tee, this one from Marea is perfection, and sneakers and ended up changing into sandals later. For some warmth, an extra layer—a navy and white striped sweater that I picked up at H&M years ago, but I linked some similar ones below because it’s such a great layering piece.
I hope you all have a fun weekend ahead! We’re mostly just relaxing and hanging out and I couldn’t be more excited about it!
BTW, how to style wide leg jeans and how to style an oversized sweater.
