Why Comfort is Key
Living in a city typically requires you to do a lot of walking. When we first moved to Chicago, Rob and I both traded in our car keys for Ventra cards and take the train or walk just about everywhere we go. I love it though! Especially spring and summer, because, duh, it’s warm, and there are so many things going on in the city that are worth checking out. I’ve learned my way around the city much faster than I ever would have in a car and it gives me a sense of independence that I love. In the spring and summer it’s the best
The tough part? Finding shoes that are both cute and comfortable! I made the mistake of wearing uncomfortable shoes to a street festival one year and learned my lesson. Anytime I go to buy shoes now, my first priority is that I love them, and second, are they comfortable? Now that spring is in my sights, I’ve been on the hunt for new shoes and I found some amazing ones from Aerosoles!
I grabbed a pair of nubuck Alteration loafers that are casual and comfortable — perfect for busy days where I find myself on my feet, running from place to place all day. I also got this adorable pair of high gloss wedges in the bone color and I’m obsessed! The color is perfect for summer and the shoes are insanely comfortable. After a busy day on my feet, changing into comfortable wedges feels amazing. These versatile shoes are perfect for a night out! I know I’ll be wearing these constantly this summer.
I’m also super excited because Aerosoles is giving away a pair of these high gloss wedges in the color of your choice (they also come in taupe and black). To enter, just follow the instructions below. The giveaway will close on Sunday winner will be announced next Monday morning. Good luck!
