Right when we arrived in Denver, I ordered this dress because I was in desperate need of comfortable, flowy pieces for summer that were easy to wear and also didn’t break the bank. I fell in love with this style after seeing it on other friends and the price ($25-32 depending on the color) was too good to pass up!
After one arrived, I was hooked and ordered a couple more. So, now I also have this dress in this pretty pink color and this dark lemon color in a size small and they also fit well too! Originally, I wasn’t sure on sizing, but both fit just fine.
The XS is tighter across the chest and shorter in the arms, but I don’t notice a major size difference throughout the body other than that. It’s designed to be oversized!
These two may look different once my bump is gone, but for now, both sizes work great! Either way, I’ll still be wearing them. I love the oversized fit and flowy, lightweight feel of these.
I also got asked if they are breastfeeding friendly, so I checked and I’d say yes. They’re not stretchy, but you can get a boob out to feed, so I’ll report back once baby arrives and I’ve really put it to the test. If you’re getting it for this purpose and in between sizes, I’d say go up just for a little extra room!
I brought this dress with us to Aspen a few weeks ago and it was perfect! Comfortable, casual, breezy. I ended up wearing it with sneakers for some of our brief outings, but wore it around the house with these crossover flats that are made of the softest leather ever.
If you need a good basic pair of sandals this summer, you won’t regret these. They’re only $88 and come in several colors too!
I’m so glad we were able to drive over to Aspen for a few days just before my travel cut off—I’ll be 38 weeks this weekend! It was just what we needed for a few days. Fresh air, no work, relaxation and to see my parents.
Hope you guys had a good week—can you believe June is almost over?!
