Is it Christmas Yet?

Happy (late) Monday! I had full intentions of getting this scheduled last night, but we had a big at-home family dinner and then I sat around talking with my sisters until midnight, so things didn’t get done — it happens!

If you followed along on SnapChat, thanks! It made our 15-hour drive down to Texas more entertaining that it would have been. We listened the entire Serial podcast (do you think Adnan is guilty or innocent?!) and started the second one and before we knew it, we were in Texas!

I woke up this morning to 62 degree weather in Texas! Crazy, right? Either way, I’m glad I brought light layers like this cardigan and sweater tank to pair with easy loafers and skinny jeans. Our family typically doesn’t do anything too fancy, and I end up living in outfits like this one while I’m here.

Since our weekend was mostly filled with eating and drinking, I’m planning on hitting the reset button today, getting some things done and working out because (OMG) it’s been way too long since I did any sort of exercise other than walking Oliver. I also realize that most people haven’t gone home for the holidays yet — what’s getting you through this short week?!
