Two weekends back I was in Charleston for the SBScon and after the conference ended I spent the afternoon wondering Charleston. Well, sort of. I have to admit, I was actually really really tired after talking to so many people and being on my feet all day.

I did walk down King Street and then popped into Leaf for some snacks and drinks with Josh before we met up with some girls at Leon’s Oyster Shop.

Guys, this place is adorable! Confession: I actually don’t like oysters. It’s a texture thing, so I ended up getting a salad, but it was one of the most flavorful salads I’d ever had! They’re also known for their friend chicken, so if seafood isn’t your thing, you’ll be able to eat something else equally as delicious. The drinks (rose!) and decor were also awesome and everyone else’s food looked amazing — how about that avocado toast? Such gorgeous colors.

I really want to go back to Charleston again when I don’t have as many obligations so I can really see all there is to see. Even though this was a quick trip, it was easy to tell it was an amazing city, so if you’re thinking about going, you should go!
