And just like that, my trip is over! Well, it wasn’t really just like that. I did get home yesterday, but it felt like I had been gone forever! The trip was amazing and don’t worry, you’ll be hearing about it a lot in the next few weeks, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t happy to be reunited with my little family and getting back into a normal routine. Late nights, lots of wine, and delicious (but not-so-healthy) eating were a common routine for us. Thankfully our days were filled with lots of walking, laughing, shopping and good conversation. If you didn’t follow along on Instagram, you should go back and check it out now, I don’t think my Insta-stream has ever been quite so colorful!

We didn’t actually go to Notting Hill until the middle of our trip, but that’s where I’m starting here on the blog. It was one of my favorite spots on our trip and you’ll see why after I unload an unhealthy amount of pictures of this adorable London neighborhood next week.

We ate lunch at Granger & Co. when we first arrived and I highly recommend it! The food was delicious and fresh, and the interior was so bright and beautiful (again, more on this next week!). After lunch we just wandered around Notting Hill for a few hours, popping into shops, daydreaming about which color we’d paint our front doors, taking way too many pictures and eventually sitting on a sidewalk cafe and enjoying a glass (maybe two?!) of rose. It was one of our more relaxing days and I loved it! It was also one of the warmer days during the trip so I pulled out this lace eyelet top that I picked up at Anthropologie just before I left and paired it with this laser cut skirt from LOFT that I got earlier this season. I was really thankful that I’d brought my anorak because the clouds floated by off and on all day making it significantly cooler at times.

If you’re planning a trip to London anytime soon and love cute stuff, you better make Notting Hill a priority. It’s the perfect place for those who love wandering, shopping and beautiful homes! I can’t wait to show you more of our trip next week!
