While in London, we stayed in the west side neighborhood of St. John’s Wood. It wasn’t totally centrally located, but we were just a quick walk to the train and a very short train ride to everywhere we liked to hang out.
One of the highlights of our daily walk down the hill to the Maida Vale station was the gorgeous church we strolled by. Not only was the church itself really old and beautiful, but the surrounding gardens were simply stunning.
Meg snapped these pictures right by the church gardens on my last day in London. We spent the rest of our day at the neighborhood cafe, The Elgin, and had avocado toast for lunch (I’m now more obsessed with it than ever) and a couple of beers before heading out for our last dinner and night together. Typically I would pair this dress with heels, but I love the juxtaposition of the feminine and modest cut with clean white sneakers. It makes the whole look more playful, easy for everyday wear and really great for summer travel!
