Life as of Late

This week is the first one in a while where I feel like I can actually breathe and chill out a bit. We’ve been doing a lot of travel and work has picked up a bit, so while let me catch you up on a few things that have been happening and on my mind lately!

Trip to Sonoma: This weekend we were in Sonoma! It was such an amazing trip with great friends and I’ll be sharing more pictures next week! On our last day we drove through San Francisco for lunch and it was literally one of the hottest days I’ve ever experienced in SF, crazy! I wore this top that’s under $36 — obsessed! You can shop the whole look here.

Favorite Flats: I know I’ve mentioned these a few times, but I really can’t speak more highly of them! I’d been wanting a pair of lace up flats for a long time and these Brezza flats finally become available again on M.Gemi. They’re a bit more of an investment, but they are so comfortable and took no time at all to break in — that alone is worth it in my book.

Blogging For Keeps — a resource for fashion & lifestyle bloggers
New Project: If you follow my blog better column, then you already heard the exciting news! Last week, Jess and I launched a brand new site called Blogging For Keeps that’s 100% dedicated to helping bloggers grow their audience, traffic and income. It’s been in the works for a couple of months now and has been taking up a lot of time.

I’ll admit that I’ve been feeling a bit more stressed than normal lately, but at the same time, I’m really passionate about what we’re doing and excited for the opportunity to help even more people! I guess that’s the tough thing about a side hustle. The next few weeks will be crazy as we get into the swing of things, but there’s even more exciting things in the works!

This weekend will be the first one in what feels like forever where we’re actually in town. We’ve got brunch and a double date planned, but other than that, I’m planning on laying low, resting and finally finishing painting the living room — I’m slightly embarrassed by how long this has taken me, but it’s going to look so good!

It’s only Tuesday, but I’m already looking forward to a lazy weekend. Is anyone else feeling super tired this week? Any tips for perking myself up?
