I seriously can’t tell you how excited I am to announce that I am currently blogging from my living room, which means, we have internet in here! Sounds like a small feat, but it really is a big deal. Since I moved into my place over a year ago, we’ve only had internet in the back part of our house. I’m going to go ahead and blame the thick plaster walls for blocking the signal. It’s been fine, but also sort of annoying. There are so many nights when I just want to curl up on the couch with a glass of wine, HGTV and catch up on my favorite blogs or do a little blogging myself. Until yesterday, that was impossible.
We switched providers since our last one was so expensive and we were getting basically nothing. Now we have internet in the whole apartment, TV in two rooms and Tivo! Yes, Tivo, not DVR. I didn’t know it still existed either.
So, while it may seem like a small victory, I’m enjoying every moment of it. And speaking of the living room, I finally got around to hanging these cute little prints that I bought months ago. Things have been so busy the past few months, I feel like it takes me far too long to do the little things, but nonetheless, it happened.
This weekend, we’re heading to San Antonio for our friends Leila and Shane’s wedding. I’m not sure if I’ve been to San Antonio and I plan on stopping to see the Alamo, cruise around the River Walk and eat a good plate of Tex-Mex while we’re there. What’s on your weekend agenda?
