Good morning friends, how’s your week going so far? I hope good! This week has been a mix of getting caught up and getting my life back in order. We got back from our trip to California on the first of the month, but I’m just now falling into a rhythm. Oh, and Shopbop’s sale starts today—more on that in just a moment!

My sister, Caroline, came in town the day after we got back and stayed for a week. She hadn’t seen Owen since Christmas! We had fun hanging out around the house, playing with Owen and getting out for some shopping at Credo (I just picked up this mineral primer with SPF that I’m loving), lots of of grocery shopping (we both love to cook), and a few fun lunches out!

By the time she left on Saturday, I was afraid to open my inbox, haha! I’d pretty much ignored it for about a week and a half—not a good idea. Anyway, I got through it!

Other than my inbox, some exciting stuff happened last week! We finally found a new apartment! I can’t tell you how relieved I am to have that done. It is stressful trying to get an apartment in Chicago because everything goes so fast. There’s very little time to think about it! We had already missed out on one we loved because we were the second application.

Our new place has a big living area and two balconies which I’m really excited about. Right now we have no outdoor space, so this will be nice! I’m also super excited because we have a parking spot and a fireplace! It’s the little things, right?! We move in early May, so I’ll be sharing more about that next month.

On another note, it snowed on Monday, but tomorrow we’re suppose to get sun and 60 degree weather—fingers crossed! I’m beyond ready for warm weather!
