Growing up with sisters was one of the biggest blessings ever. Built in best friends?! Yes, please! Okay, it wasn’t always perfect, but as we’ve gotten older, my two sister, Katherine & Caroline have become my two very best friends in the whole world. They’re always there to listen, help out and never judge.

The only thing I hate? We all live in different states and visiting each other, or all being together at one time is super rare. Now that everyone is working, most our time spent together is at the holidays, which is not enough sister time! If a genie would grant me one wish (or would this count as two?), I’d love to live in the same city as my sisters! Getting to walk over to their houses and get together for dinners on a regular basis would be the best.

Since I don’t see that happening anytime soon, trips like this last one seriously fill my heart to the brim and make me wish we got to do stuff like this more often! I took the opportunity to snap a few pictures of us together, because that also rarely happens!

The weather in Aspen was beautiful everyday and when we weren’t hiking, I lived in simple dresses and sandals. These Mythologia slip-ons are super comfortable and perfect for kicking around the house, or heading into town for the afternoon.

For the most part, our trip consisted of a lot of physical activities and relaxing. We went on a long hike, bike ride and then spent the Fourth of July in downtown Aspen. I wish we could have stayed longer—summer is my favorite time to visit Colorado! How was your holiday weekend?
