Good morning and hello from Madison, Georgia! If you’ve been following on Instagram, you already know that I’m on a fun little work trip this week! For the first part of our trip, we were in Greensboro at the Ritz Lake Oconee and yesterday, we made the short drive to this adorable little town. It’s been such a fun and relaxing week and I’m sad that today is the last full day! That being said, I’m really starting to miss my little family at home!

On Monday, I talked about how I was slowing down my pace and focusing on my health and happiness and this trip has been exactly what I needed. I think that my headache last week was partially due to pregnancy, but also due to running myself ragged. I’m not the best at relaxing, and sometimes I don’t realize how badly I need it until something like that happens. It rained all day on Tuesday, so we spent a good portion of the day at the spa and then I sat on my patio just watching the rain. It felt so nice to just breathe and forget about everything on my to-do list for a while!

This week has been all about being comfortable and casual, and this simple look that I wore on our first day fit the bill. Ever since I picked up this adorable little eyelet top, I can’t stop wearing it. I love the length, though it might only last me a few more weeks before it’s too short. My favorite feature is the ruffle detail which makes it feel extra girly. To dress it up a bit, I threw on these adorable sandals from Mythologia. They make the cutest leather sandals that are minimal, but classic and go with everything. When it comes to sandals, I love a good simple pair that will last me year after year, but so many are so trendy.
