Five whole days. Can you believe it?

That’s how long of a break we’re taking for the Fourth of July holiday weekend and I cannot wait. I can’t tell you the last time I took a break that long. Okay, that’s a lie, it was back in January when we went to Portugal. Either way though, I’m so excited for a relaxing and inspiring trip to the mountains with my family. The downtime is much needed as I’ve felt run down this week and started getting a bit of a sore throat.

We fly out this afternoon and I’m pretty excited just to get to the airport because my youngest sister, Caroline, and her boyfriend Dylan are flying through Chicago on their way, so we’ll see them in just a few hours!
