One of my favorite spring and summer trends are floral prints. They’re cheery, bright, easy and so girly, and quite frankly, they just put me in a good mood! I got this particular skirt on sale last year and have worn it to death. So much so, that I’ve been scouring the web for another one… or maybe two!

In early spring, I end up pairing skirts with sweaters a lot. Mostly because I’m sick of wearing pants, but it’s not quite warm enough for a tank top, which was true of the weather this day.

My sister and I took advantage of the few warm days in Dallas when I was visiting and poked around town, ate lunch in Klyde Warren Park and just enjoyed getting to spend some time together! The whole day reminded me of a summer weekend in particular from last year, ahh, I can’t wait for that again. For now I’ll just keep praying for warm weather and make the most of this never-ending winter.
