An UnFussy Holiday Look

As much as I love getting dolled up for the holidays, some parties don’t require a festive cocktail dress and instead are more casual and relaxed. I got this wine-colored midi skirt from Banana Republic a few months back and I’ve been wearing it just about every chance I get.

A few weeks back I wore this skirt with a simple black tank (here), and since then I’ve been dying to try it with a chambray top. I’m glad I did because I love the contrast of the skirt against the denim of the shirt!

Last week we had a little holiday get together at my friend Shaheen’s house and this outfit was perfect for the occasion. We drank lots of wine and chatted by the Christmas tree and it was just what I needed to get me into the Christmas spirit!

Speaking of Christmas, my dad is flying up later this week and driving Oliver and I back to Texas since Rob can’t leave until next week. I’m so excited that Christmas is so close and I’m feeling super festive! Do you have any holiday parties that week? Are you as excited for the break as I am?!
