Did anyone else feel that way? It’s already sort of bizarre to look at these pictures of myself with my bump and to think how different everything is just a few weeks later. A few weeks before my due date, Shaheen and I scheduled a much-needed lady day. I’d been working like crazy to get the house and nursery ready for our little guy’s arrival. As well as getting caught up on work so that I could enjoy those first few months without stressing. Needless to say, I was super excited for our day! Usually our lady days involve shooting pictures and grabbing lunch, but for this one, we had long-standing plans to go to the spa at Soho for a little pampering. I absolutely love having facials and massages. It was a good reminder to treat myself to one a little more often. Since I was limited to treatments because of pregnancy, I did the Cowshed facial that uses all natural products and it was amazing. A week later my skin was glowing and looked and felt so much smoother! After our spa appointments, we went to Restoration Hardware’s 3 Arts Club for lunch. The space is absolutely beautiful and even though we had to wait a while for a table, I didn’t mind because it’s basically just like hanging out in a comfy living room. I was very jealous of Shaheen’s wine, haha, and I’m already dreaming of going back and enjoying a glass myself! We snapped these pictures during our lady day when I was a little over 37 weeks pregnant. My outfits got pretty unexciting after that—think, oversized sweaters, yoga pants and t-shirts. I ordered this sweater dress in my normal size because I wanted to be able to wear it without it looking huge after I gave birth. It definitely fit a bit tight over my bump, which also made it shorter, so order accordingly! Now that the bump is gone, it fits really nicely—not oversized, but not tight either! Speaking of boots, did you catch this post on winter boots and how to wear them? Over the knee boots are great with dresses in the winter because they let the least amount of skin show! I still can’t believe that my pregnancy is over! It’s funny, I can remember the day I took the pregnancy test and telling Rob that morning before he left for work like it was yesterday. Obviously, things have changed so much in the past nine months and we’re so happy! This year’s holidays should be some of the best yet! BTW, my favorite pregnancy products, and the dress you need if you’re expecting.
