With just 14 weeks left to go before our baby boy arrives, I figured it’s probably time to start planning his nursery. I’ve been thinking about it a lot, but when it comes to actually picking stuff out and buying it, I haven’t gotten too far.

A few things we do have? A big square mirror that we’ve had for a while! The nursery only has one window, so I plan on hanging this on the wall across from the window to bounce back natural light and make the space brighter. I also ordered this print from Minted as I wanted something green in the room for a natural touch. Lastly, I did pick the crib and rug which should both arrive in early September, but when it comes to everything else, we have nothing.

Should I be worried? Don’t answer that!

Since the room is small, storage is key! This dresser would be awesome as it has tons of drawers and will double as a changing table. I love this ladder as a means of storing extra blankets, towels and burp cloths, plus I love the rustic and natural touch it adds to the space.

We’re having a boy, but I don’t want the room to be overly blue, but I’ve definitely added some pieces with blue in them to our registry. I love these adorable bed sheets with narwhals on them—how fun! I also plan on stocking up on these safe and gentle baby skincare products and hooded towels. I can’t wait to see him wrapped up in one of these after bath time!
