These snaps are actually from a few weeks ago when I went to the NoMi Garden Party. I had completely forgotten that I took them, but they were too fun not to share! The weather that night was amazing, and really the first time it actually felt like summer. You can see what I wore to the party in yesterday’s post, and even in a summery white dress, I still got hot!

I got to catch up with Jess, Kelly, Jenn, Arin and Nicole while sipping some of the most beautiful cocktails (the colors were insane!) and tasting an amazing spread of vegetables, charcuterie, cheese and grilled bread. Not only was the party a celebration that summer had finally arrived, but it also reminded me that we have three(ish) more months of this and I need to make the most of it. Also, I need to make picnics happen a lot more than I did last year.

If you’re visiting Chicago or you live here, you need to make it a priority to stop by NoMi for their drinks or a meal. Since it’s downtown right off Michigan (just off the Chicago Red Line stop) close to all the best shopping, it’s the perfect mid-shopping-trip break!
